The Art Party began as a promotional campaign for the Main Art Drift – local small businesses supporting local artists on Main Street, Vancouver in 2010.
Today, The Art Party is a social networking community and endorser of Earth Charter® principles for a just, sustainable and peaceful planet. We are a few human and robot volunteers.
The Art Party started as a Facebook Group in 2009 to promote the Main Art Drift, an annual event of local small businesses supporting local artists along Main Street, Vancouver. The Art Party’s buy local post was shared 615 times and liked 64 times on The Art Party Facebook network. This inspired the tagline: “Buy Local to Support Local Artists”
Today, The Art Party is a social networking community and endorser of Earth Charter®. The Art Party will leverage its +10,000 social media contacts to disseminate the Earth Charter and raise awareness in our local community. The Art Party will collaborate with Earth Charter Partners, Affiliates and with other organizations that have endorsed the Earth Charter in our region. We intend to inspire our members to spread the sustainability vision articulated in the Earth in Metro Vancouver.

“I was a speaker at an event that Liza organized. From the moment we started working together she was extremely professional and went above and beyond to ensure the event was a success. Her leadership and organizational skills are exceptional. Liza is a dedicated, results-driven marketer who works hard to build mutually beneficial relationships with everyone she works with. I highly recommend working with Liza on your next marketing or event project.”

“It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Liza. She over delivered on both of the projects that she helped us on, including bringing to our fold a number of investors and media contacts that we had not considered.”

Google Local Guide Level 6 – providing photos and reviews of local businesses, starting in East Vancouver! This resulted in over 2 million photo views after 8 months of posting hundreds of photos at art events and more. The appreciation from local business owners has been uplifting for making a real impact in our local community. Google founders are real philanthropists and they want to help the “little guy”, not just big advertisers with their Google Local Guide program.
